British Ring Shield Competition
Thursday 23rd September 2010 at 20.00 hours in The Congress Theatre
- THE BRITISH RING SHIELD for the most entertaining magic act plus £1000 & sponsorship from the Ring into the FISM European Championships, Blackpool 2011
- THEO SPEAKER CUP plus £500 for the runner-up
- ALASTAIR WAND plus £250 for the 3rd prize
- CONVENTIONEERS TROPHY for the greatest originality shown in effect, method or presentation
- DITTIA SHIELD awarded for manipulation
- TOM HARRIS CUP awarded for comedy
The competition is open to all fully paid up members of the British Ring No.25
COMPETITORS MUST REGISTER FOR THE FULL CONVENTION
Entry is limited to 10 competitors (on a first come, first served basis) and entry will close after the first post on Monday 26th July 2010

The British Ring Close-up Competition
for the Zina Bennett Trophy
Eastbourne, Thursday 23rd September 2010 at 1.30pm
- 1st prize £1000, the Zina Bennett Trophy & sponsorship from the Ring into the FISM European Championships, Blackpool 2011
- 2nd prize £500
- 3rd prize £250
- The ‘Rovi’ Trophy will be awarded for the most entertaining and skilful act using cards
Contestants must be paid up members of the British Ring and have registered for the whole convention
